I just said the same thing when I saw the message board. I'm going to have to scroll down and see why. I think if we want a thread about women in politics (or something like that), we shoud start one.

However, I ventured over to the Huffington Post, a pretty liberal  blog, and  Sarah  Paling was still being  attacked, being made fun of  and  the rest. I suppose that Jon Stewart and other comedians can use her as fodder for their material, but  when the internet an print media start donating space to these attacks it seems like they're condoning them. heck, the race is  over,  GET A GRIP! The election is over!

The media and so-called comedians who are still bashing SP are revealing their level of intelligence, just as they did before the election.

She's being set up, left and right, but she's the one who will have the last laugh.

I hope it is that she'll have the last laugh; hate to think those nincompoop liberal charlies, katies, chris, rachel maddows, keith and the rest of the liberal crew will ruin her future. If that does happen, I believe the people will rise up and demand honesty from these so-called 'journalists.'

Honestly, I think President elect Obama has done well by mixing up his cabinet...........it seems he might pleasantly surprise many of us.  Its not over......................if he could give a good kick to Pelosi, Dodd, and Franks..........Id feel better, Murtha can go too as far as I'm concerned.   I was even confused by some of his picks or rumors of his pics for cabinet posts............but using seasoned leaders from different areas of expertise might be good.   I'm still hoping there will be the checks and balance with Senate, does anybody know anything about that guy running against that comedian from SNL up in Wisconsin or wherever?  Georgia did get Senator Chambliss.

I hope SP does have the last laugh.............and Im hoping that the old saying 'what goes around comes around'.

I think Prez-Elect Obama is doing well so far. But he clearly can't deliver on a few of the campaign promises. Raise taxes now? He now wants to leave Iraq in victory, so that means his 16 month  plan might not be deliverable.

However, I see bright things for him, as long as he can show Nancy P, Harry Reid and a few others WHO'S the boss. Yep, Barney Frank, he doesn't mean that  YOU'RE THE BOSS!

I hope to God that Al Franken (SNL) doesn't win the recount or whatever they call it. Far be it for me to call someone's career, but I think Franken s hould stick to something he's good att: HE'S A BRILLIANT WRITER and a heck of a comedian. There are plenty of other things he could do in his older years, than to go into politics-like Sony Bono and Jesse Ventura. Ronald Regan and Fred Thompson are the only entertainers turned legislators that I know of who made a good transition.

I think he's someone worth uniting behind. I don't like everything he stands for, but he's working with an electoral college mandate, he was our duly elected Prez, and I was asked by my candidtate to support him. America needs to heal.

I don't think anyone has forgotten Arnold, Gov. of CA.  It is just that he will never be a Presidential candidate due to being born on foreign soil.  For his sake, I regret it, but I think the guideline is a valid one.

McCain = joke.

Obama = joke.

99.9% of all politicians = joke.

And the joke's on US.

I am impressed with her. She stands up for what she believes is right. She doesn't do what everyone wants her to do. I am impressed with her, but still not to sure about McCain.  A like her more than any of the other three. She seems like she really cares about the US of A, she's not looking out for herself. I'm sure McCain's thoughts are pure, but she doesn't feel tainted by the system.

I second your opinion squirmals. I think she's getting the poop end of the stick...still! She is intelligent and she isn't one of the usual corrupt blood-sucking politicians. I am still shocked that so many women criticize her because she works, instead of staying home with her children. She's taken on anyone, regardless of their political party, who did not have her state's best interests in mind. In my opinion, she didn't hurt McCain. He and his campaign managers hurt him. I would much rather see her in the oval office, than who we have now. This country needs more Sarah Palins!

I was just about to say, nearly 4 months after the election and this post is still going, but then I saw the direction. She's good and even though the PETA people (who don't like anyone) and pro-abortion groups don't like her: she's a principled person who wouldn't force her pro-life views on anyone. She feels this isn't a governmental matter and if we nationalize healthcare, it will be. She would no sooner overturn Roe (even though she thinks it should be) than an ob/gyn would practice w/out liability insurance.

I do wish they would leave her alone as well. Look at all the bad crap that is out now with this administration.    I earlier said that Obama was doing a good job so far.....................its been a couple of weeks since that post, and I'm taking it back.  How many of his cabinet have been busted by not paying their income taxes?  I lost count.    Is this turning into 'do as I say, not as I do?'

Anytime it involves politics, it is always..."Listen to what i say AND watch what I do".  I am just hoping soon the two shall meet!  We shall see...

I cannot believe people are still posting on this topic. Wow. maybe that's a sign that there is regret about the man of change being elected.As i said in a previos forum , change is right...change in our pockets.
