Okay I've heard all the names: LPN- Little Pretend Nurse, RN- Retarded Nurse, Ridiculous Nurse, Replica Nurse practitioner

I've been reading alot of the comments on this site and i feel it's disturbing to see all this LPN vs RN crap. Whether LPN or RN you both are nurses! I've had LPNs and RNs work for me. At the office LPN or RN are reffered to THAT NURSE! I dont understand why you dont  just ALL be called: NURSE!  Forget the RN, LPN title. I never came across a Podiatrist telling a optometrist: i make more $ then you im a better doctor Or a Geriatrican telling a Pediatrician:  i make more $ then you im a better doctor! No one dr. better than the other. They are all doctors regardless of where they can work or limit to practice. I think because the nursing field is mostly women you will always cat fight LPN vs RN like moody pms and menopause women!

I think I'm feeling  sorry for any LPN or RN who ever worked for you. If you have a PhD. why are you bothering with us in the first place? BTW, 411, there are alot of male nurses out there who probably never pms'd in their life. If all we do is cat fight, you may want to stay out of the line of fire. Flying fur can be detrimental to one's health.

I am so sick of the LPN vs RN vs CNA crap that I could just puke. It is nothing at all about PMS and everything about envy and low self esteem. Can't believe that there is yet anaother forum going on this crap. Laura just said it a minute ago: cut the crap

He probably came to a nursing website to make himself sound important..."Dr"!!  It's that phd at the end that says it all.  Some chump with a philosophy doctorate.  Still playing D&D in his mom's basement.  Leaving our site!?  But, but...you've been here so long and are such a vital member.  Moron.

That's right Ginny, podiatrists DO NOT have PhDs, they have DPMs (Doctor of Podiatric Medicine).

 I sent a message to him "sounds like you are very proud of your title, we do not get too excited about titles here" sounds like HE does get excited about titles, I finish my PHd soon and I will NOT be changing my name, who cares really what your TITLE is, he just had a few years more school thats all.
