Posted almost 6 years ago Do you think that nursing is the hottest profession to get into right now? A recent article mentioned increasing salaries and high demand in some parts of the country as reason to call nursing "the hottest" profession. Is this portrayal accurate? |

| Posted almost 6 years ago I would suggest that nurses be more compassionate to one another. We are human and do make mistakes. This does not mean we have to crucify them and chase them out of the profession. This happens too often when it relates to personalities. I desire to see a more forgiving culture and let the nurse learn from ones mistake. Nurses are hardest on themselves and will remember the mistake. They will take extra steps to prevent the mistake from ever happening again. This would help the retention and decrease the burnout rates our profession creates. |

| Posted over 3 years ago No I dont think the portrayal is accurate. There leaves a lot to be desired even in the salary dept. If you dont really want to be a nurse you could burn out fast. I think though, that there is job security in nursing. |

| Posted over 3 years ago Here in the Philippines, i guess yes, but after graduating from nursing school, passing the boards, what's next?! The hottest, but the most impractical course to take i guess...(if you live in the Philippines, sad to say) "happiness depends upon ourselves" |
