I have a few good nursing school humor story's. They were not to funny at the time to my nursing instructors or for the hospital staff  that I trained in though. We would meet at the end of our clinical day for report ect...I don't know why but for some reason one of the instructors asked if any of us unfolded papers in the charts when  at the nuraing station. Well being the kind and helpful person that I am I replied, "yes, I unfolded all those pages in the charts." I thought it was a little rude for someone to fold pages over and leave them sticking out like that  so another person  like me had to fix  all of them.. Why would someone fold a page over in a chart.? Well you all know by now they were flagged Doctors orders. OOOP's. My instructor ran out of the room and back to the floor I was working on. She was not to happy with me.

Too, Too funny!!!  Now why would that cause such a response?  You would think being the meticulous, caring, neat person that we are - all that effort would be appreciated!!!!   LMAO!!! ROTFL!!!!

This isn't a nursing school story but a new job story- I was hired for a pulmonary practice as a office nurse. One of the doctors was either in a very good mood or a grumpy bear. This day he was a grumpy bear. He would see the patient in his office, go over his chest x-rays, then see him in a room for examination and then return to his office for final conference. I was trying to be Miss Nancy Nurse. After I put the patient in the examination room, I returned to the office and took down his chest x-rays and put up the next patients'  x-rays. After the patient had left the doctor's office, the doctor pulled me aside and asked if I had changed the x-rays. I said I had. He said he had talked to the patient in his office after exmining him based on the x-rays that were up ( not his!)  Thankfully, both patients  had very little wrong with them. I was mortified! But the doctor just said "Don't let it happen again" and that was the end of it.
