Hi! I'm a CNA working the evening/night shift. Work 4 10-hour days & off 3.  This week I was looking at job openings at a local hospital and ran across CNA-LTC opening. Can someone tell me what the LTC might stand for?

Hey, I was a CNA for 2 years in a nursing home, then a hospital.  I Now I am a med tech.  Sort of the same thing except we get to draw and start IV's.  I know how you feel!  You guys are awesome!!!!!  It is the hardest job in the healthcare profession!  And we get paid less than anybody.  I think my salary was $7.50 an hour....how can you feed a family on that?

LTC stands for Long Term Care (read Nursing Home).
