Posted over 4 years ago Hey everyone! I'm new here and thought I'd introduce myself! I'm Amber and I am starting in a nursing program in Fall of 2009. Right now I'm going through my pre-reqs and I'm in A&P I. I'm doing a complete career change and I couldn't be happier or more excited about it!! I'm going to school evenings, that way I can still work and have some time with my family. I am married (3 years this October) and I have the most adorable little boy, he's 11 months old! I look forward to meeting you all! |

| Posted over 4 years ago H there olliesmommy....good for you. I am also changing careers. I was a disc jockey for many years and have decided that I love medicine. I will start school in January. I will be taking Chem and APII. I already took AP. It was pretty hard, but it was also fun. I learned a lot. Good luck to you and welcome to Nursing Link. That is great that you have chosen to persue a career in the medical field. I started persuing my nursing degree my senior year in highschool, this year is my first official year. It can be challanging at times, however the payout is well worth it. I too with be taking ap and chemistry. So it's nice to meet you and I wish you luck in your new career choice!! |

| Posted over 4 years ago Welcome to Nursing Link/Student Nurses. This is my 1st semester of my nursing classes, and I LOVE them! As a matter of fact, today was our first day of clinicals, and it was AWESOME! Keep the positive attitude. |
