You know other than kids and graduation I never thought I could find anything that would make me any happier, but I am so excited that I feel I have to witness and tell all my nursing friends.

My grandma was forced to leave her 3 kids due to my grandfather.  my mom's last memory was her mom comming back and her dad hiding her and this was when she was 4 or 5 she is now 50 something (never tells her real age and I dont question).  Anyway what ever my granddad knew he took to the grave with him many years ago.  The only thing we did know was she is Native American and part of the Ottawa Indian Tribe.  Well mom had 1 picture and thanks to computers I emailed the picture and a letter to the tribe and they knew her!!!!!  Well because of the circumstances they couldn't give us any info on her so they mailed the family member who was registered a letter to call if interested in meeting us.  Low and behold I got a phone call from my Uncle Mike who lives next door to my grandma and for the first time in my life I was able to hear her voice.  That is not the best part!!!!!!  the best was suprising my mom with a call from her mom who she has longed for all these years.  I have never felt such a feeling in my life and the chance to have a family and a grandma is so overwhelming I just about cant contain myself.   I just await the day I can physically see her!!!!! Just to know that I have a grandma and aunts and uncles is a blessing and I already am so in love with them I can hardley wait for the day.  I just wanted to share this wonderful experience with my friends.
