I worked i for a pediatric dr. for 7 and a half years as a nurse/medical assistant we moved to the country and I went back to school to become registered and certified as a medical assistant. That was in 05. Being a NRCMA in this small town is really hard to find a job. It is all in who you know and I do not know anyone. With the price of gas and the distance to Dallas area is is just not worth the drive with the salary a CMA makes. I want to go back and maybe get my LVN I am old 58 and wonder if anyone thinks it is worth it. I am really down on myself. I am usually a very happy and upbeat person but not finding a job and still owing 6,000 dollars is quite depressing. I live in Caddo Mills Dodes anyone know of an LVN school to go to. You are more apt to get a job out here being an LVN or RN than a Certified Medical Assistant in this area. Please someone reply. Thanks so much Lynne
