I have been wanting to be an RN for as long as I can remember....but I want a family too....what do you think?

I think it's all what you want to do. I wished I would of done the career thing first. I married before I went to college. It is best, if you are considering nursing, without distractions, if you decide to get married, and start a family, make sure you pick a spouse that will be really supportive. Nursing school is really demanding, and so are the nursing science preriquisites. You have to study really hard.


I am a proud mother of three beautyful daughter. I currently live in Los Angeles California. I've worked as a heathecare provider for almost 10 years. I am curently in school to pursue my MSN in nursing, and wants to work as a pediactric nurse, in public health.

Thank you, my aunt has been an RN for close to 30 years! She has worked in the ER, OBGYN, clinic, and ambulance. She told me that the best bet for me is to work in delivery, she thinks that is the best thing for me, since I want to have a family.
