I was just wondering what my chances are of passing the NCLEX if my computer shut off at 90 and my test was a little under an hour... Since it went past 75 does that mean my chances of passing are more slim??? Please let me know because I'm stressing thinking about the mere possibility of failure >_< . ~Marisa

marisa, I agree with matt.  Mine shut off in just under one hour, and I cried all the way home...KNOWING in my heart that I'd failed.  Thank God I can admit to being wrong once in a while, because two weeks later, my license arrived in the mail!!!  Either way, there's nothing you can do now, so don't stress yourself out...speaking from experience, just do your best to keep your mind off of it, and relax!

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, worn out and screaming "Woo-hoo"!!!

I was told by a LPN who recently took the test and her's shut off after so many questions, but most people say that the reason it shuts off is because you may have answered enough right question and didnt need to continue.  Good luck

I took mine last Jan. 20 2009, answered 156 questions, spent 4 hours in the test center cubicle. I got my license today Jan. 26. So, the number of items are not the indication of a pass or fail. One thing I did though, is pray. Just relax and know that you did your best. Good luck.
