Pay Attention!

You couldn't get a job at McDonalds and become district manager

after 143 days of experience.

You couldn't become chief of surgery after 143 days of experience

of being a surgeon.

You couldn't get a job as a teacher and be the superintendent after

143 days of experience.

You couldn't join the military and become a colonel after a 143 days

of experience.

You couldn't get a job as a reporter and become the nightly news

anchor after 143 days of experience.

But 'From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator,

to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory

committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate.

That's how

many days the Senate was actually in session and working.

After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be

Commander In Chief, *Leader of the Free World* .... 143 days.

We all have to start somewhere.

The Senate is a good start, but after

143 days, that's all it is - *a start.

*

AND, strangely, a large sector of the American public is okay with this

and campaigning for him.

We wouldn't accept this in our own line of

work, yet some are okay with this for the President of the United States

of America?

Come on folks, we are not voting for the next American Idol!

Experience is key. Running a country isn't an easy task and should require some more experience and servive more than 143 days!

I enjoyed this posting very much.

Thanks for explaining the "143 days"!

He didn't have my vote anyway.

I have been in school for at least 143 days.  I think I feel totally secure and confident at being a Nurse Practioner.  Is this valid???? If he can be president and I have a 3.7 avg. what's the difference??? HEE HEE

Universal healthcare would ruin the income for pretty much everybody in healthcare.  Plus we would be eating catfood because Barack Hussein Obama wants to tax hard working Americans a 'Global Poverty Tax'.  I guess so we can pay for the bullets they plan on buying to shoot us with in radical Islamic 3rd world countries.

The main difference is that he speaks like an educated person

If you speak like an educated person does this make you smart or prepared for a position that there has been no preperation?

Oh no, this is getting too deep for me.

SAP, it is not getting to deep for you. You can speak your mind without being ugly or judge.  We are trying to get OPINIONS, IDEAS and are just seeing what other people think.  That's all.

During his eight years in the Illinois state Senate, Obama worked with both Democrats and Republicans to help working families get ahead by creating programs like the state Earned Income Tax Credit, which in three years provided over $100 million in tax cuts to families across the state. That is 10 times more experience than Palin Has.

Sworn into office January 4, 2005, Senator Obama serves on the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, which oversees our nation’s health care, schools, employment, and retirement programs. He is a member of the Foreign Relations Committee, which plays a vital role in shaping American policy around the world, including our policy in Iraq. And Senator Obama serves on the Veterans’ Affairs Committee, which is focused on providing our brave veterans with the care and services they deserve. In 2005 and 2006, he served on the Environment and Public Works Committee, which safeguards our environment and provides funding for our highways.

Kaye7, I need to keep track of you because you are funny.  Let's get to the main topic.

senior tweety, Obama has done somethings as well as Palin, but I think if you look at McCain/Palin together this team is definately more well rounded then Obama/Biden, on many issues.  I think it boils down to tax and spend as opposed to cleaning up, shifting big bureaucracy down to not spend some much money on government.  We are so in the red, its like pulling back the reigns of spending, seeing where the waste is going and fixing it.

If I were president, I would almost want to tear things up and start all over.  We do not even own half our country anymore.  After the wars, we forgave everyones debts, and now we are in millions, trillions of dollars in debt to so many countries.  GOD help us.  I wished we knew exactly how this is going to end?

Ok on Obama's experience:  He states 'Voting Present" is common practice in Illinois............but he did vote NO 130 times.  he states "without me there would be no ethics bill", not exactly, he didn't write it, change it, create it, or introduce it.  He said 'the ethics bill was hard to pass", not exactly, it took 14 days from start to finish.  He said he wrote a tough nuclear bill, not exactly on that either.  His own party wouldn't support him on that because of pandering and lack of regulation mainly because of Exelon, which David Axelrod came.  Barrack Hussien .Obama states his economics bill will help America.................not exactly there either:  His 111 economic policies were combined into a proposal which lost 99-0 and he didn't vote YES to THAT!  :)  Obama stated "No one in my campaign contacted Canada about NAFTA, once again, not exactly on that.................The Canadians issued the names and memo of the conversation his campaign had with them.  Obama said he passed 900 bills in the Illinois State Senate......................big lie there, he did pass 26, but didn't write most of them.  He is famous for saying 'I have always been against Iraq"...................then why wasn't he in office to vote, and then he voted to fund it EVERY SINGE TIME!

I bet CD Nurse would be hell on wheels if she was doing a joint commssion inspection.  I also bet she is a fabulous healthcare provider. I think I called her 'spelling bee bully' last nite...........oman, she is precise and I bet she would be a fabulous instructor.  I wouldn't mind a 3 month stint with her on documentation pointers and stuff like that.  I know...........off subject but I was probably rough in poking fun and feel bad about that.   Oman, I'd get an automatic bad grade when entering the class because my spelling is crappy...........and my diction:  you dont want to go there.  She's scary and I admire that!

Hope is not a strategy and change is not a destination. Obama IS a very bright guy, no question but he has NO real world experience doing ANYTHING! He does NOT have any experience thinking on his feet, his plans are for "CHANGE" change IS NOT a destination! CHANGE is NOT a destination, think about that for a second before you make a comment. The answer to Lisa42's question is NO! You need to think with your HEAD not your HEART!

Yes.

What, que, speak a language that's understandable.  If you do not have any credible input or something to contribute than don't respond.  But then again, you are just showing how ignorant you truly are.  Haven't you had enough of picking on people and their comments or is this your joy in life.  You have not answered one thing that Obama is changing, so maybe this will be an easy one for you to answer.
