This is a book that I guess is marketed toward a young adult audience, but I loved it!  It's about a teenage girl who moves to a place called Forks and meets a vampire whom she falls in love with.  The characters might strike you as annoying and melodramatic if you don't remember what it's like to be a teenager.  I think that there's a part of me that got stuck in the teenage phase, so that wasn't a problem for me.  I found it to be a great book to escape to when I was tired of the mundane.

I have not read this but my teenage daughter has. Have you read the others, in the series? New Moon, Eclispe, and Breaking Dawn. Maybe I need to read them too.

I have a teenager in the house, so i try to keep up on movies and books that they are seeing and reading. I like to know what it is they are up to. I was very impressed with the Twilight series and enjoyed it very much. Made me check out Meyers other books, liked them too. An exciting new writer.

I have finished reading Twilight, and thought it was great. It's a little different than what I am used to, but still a very good book. I couldn't wait to get New Moon and start it. I have now started New Moon and will be done with it soon. I had to go out and buy New Moon and Eclispe, b/c my daughter didn't have them. When she read them, she borrowed one from a friend and checked the other one out at the school library. I can't wait to finish them all. I'll let you know what I think.

I know there are four books in this seris at this time.  What order do the titles go in?  I am interested in reading them but I want to read them in order.

Twightlight is the first book, New Moon is the second book, Eclispe is the third book and Breaking Dawn is the last one.

I just finished the second book New Moon and really enjoyed it, but I didn't think it was as good as the first one. I am now starting on Eclipse.

I am about 2/3 of the way through the last book. I love the whole series. I have not gone to see the movie yet. Don't know if I will. The movie never is as good as the books.

Haneen, let us know what you think.

I just bought twilight. I LOVE IT! I read half the book in one night. I had to fight with myself to go to bed so I could go to work in the morning. Now I am trying to stretch it out some so it isn't over to fast. LOL I could have finished it yesterday but I used that same willpower I use for chocolate and put it down to save more for later.

I hope the rest are as good. I am excited to see the movie, I have a feeling I will be disapointed in Cullen though, I have such a beautiful picture in my mind, I don't want to ruin it!

I have read all four books also. My 14 year old daughter got me to read them.

We finally went to see the movie, this past weekend, and have to say I was a little disappointed. It was okay, but not near as good as the book.

I have to agree with HA_Nurse2Be, the second book was my least favorite too. It was good, just not as good as the rest.

I am almost done with the fourth. I have heard about that one HA.

Now, since I am already bummed about it being over can anyone reccomend another good author or series, keep in mind vampire books aren't usually my style. Just picked this one up to see what all the fuss was about. I really enjoy Kristin Hannah, but I own and have read all her books, thank goodnes for used book stores! Any one have a favorite they would like to share? Please?! Thanks!
