the performance of the jocker was outstanding it is such a shame this actor died so tragically. prescription drugs are abused so much in this country this is a prime example of a young talented life ended to drugs. i watched this movie twice i highly recommend this movie the jocker stole the show.  elizabeth_bourdony@yahoo.com

This was a great movie and I was not a batman fan, heath Ledger did a great job, very sad he will not be here for part 2.

I liked the movie, I seen it in one of those movie taverns....Its just too bad I froze to death and it was 102 outside.  Excellent though..... Liked all the batmans.....

The Batmans were always good but the death of Heath Ledger definitely added that mystique to his character.  This was awesome!

From what I've read the next project was dropped after Ledger died.

I have to disgree with you there Dmazement. I've heard reports that Johnny Depp will be  playing the Riddler and Phillip Seymour Hoffman will be playing the Penguin. How could they not make a sequel? This is only the highest grossing (or will be by the end of the year since they are rereleasing it in Dec. for the Academy Awards), movie of all time...

Sorry for my mis-information.  I had read quite awhile ago, due to the death of Ledger, Christopher Nolan was thinking seriously of not making the next film because he thought no one could play the Joker.  Perhaps they're leaving this character out of the next film

I agree, this movie was very cool.

Even if Heath had not died, it would still have been good,

but I agree, it gave the movie a mystique it would not have garnered otherwise.
