Very interesting note regarding poll data:

Someone mentioned a high approval rating of Palin according to a poll conducted by American Viewpoint. That polling company was started in 1985 and is a Republican polling company.

Also, remember, national polls don't matter.  Its the electoral college that matters.  Most of the spike after the Republican convention turns out to be in the South (shoking, I know) where Obama was not expected to win.  Also, the news coverage right now is slanted toward Palin because she has a compelling story.  But, she has still yet to answer any questions upon debate.  She feeds rote answers that are dishonest and misleading.  If the news media or a person in debate challenges her with real data, she will be hardpressed to answer honestly.  But, she is a Republican, afterall... and a beauty queen... They are congenitally programmed to lie.
