NP requirements to change?

Posted almost 5 years ago I'v heard from a hopefully unreliable source, that U of M will require nurses who want to become nurse practictioners, to go through four years of medical school. They will then get the title of doctor. I'm wondering how true is this.

| Posted almost 5 years ago Think about it this way.......then the NP wouldn't be an NP but would be an MD. I asked a few of my NP friends and they all laughed and none of us are anywhere near new grads. |
