I figured I asked everyone what kind of benefits they get.  Over all I think I get some great benefits.  Sure I would probably love to see some things and not others but I really can not complain.

Sick days- How many?

Vacation days- How many?

Holidays?

Medical/Dental/Vision?

other medical provisions?

401k/403b?

others?

I will start-  My vacation and sick days are rolled into 1 plan.  They call it P.A.M. time- paid abscence management.  right now I have 250 hours this can be used as sick time or vacation time whatever I need.

Holidays- I get 8 holidays a year.  I get paid 8 hours paid time off and get time and half if I actually work the holiday.

Medical/Dental/ Vision- I only take the vision since my husband carries medical/dental on his plan.  What I do take is the medical credit card- they take money out of my check before taxes and I can use that credit card to pay any medical bills my insurance doesn't cover and it is pretaxed.  I can also buy cough medicine, glasses, contacts- whatever as long as it is medical.

I have a retirement account and then my employer participates in a matching 403b/roth ira plan.

My employer also lets me set up an education plan for my children that is taken out of my check- they don't match it or anyting but they allow me to have it set up so that it is taken right out of my check and easier for me to save.  I also have life insurance as part of my benefits- they pay I think double my yearly pay or something like that.  I have disability insurance.  Lastly I get tuition reimbursement for going back to school- it isn't much but I am grateful for all I do get from them so I can't complain.

Well as luck would have it my work probably has the worst benefits of all. Our health insurance plan is only a supplement to other insurance. No dental or vision unless you are dept. head. Which works ok IF your spouse has health insurance. Which mine does not. We get 2 weeks vacation per year. If you don't use it you lose it. and 12 sick days. The only good thing is we get double time and a half for working holidays. If you don't work you get 8 hours.  So when I have to go to a doc and they ask about occupation and insurance I get quite a few shocking remarks. LOL I am nurse with no health insurance. IT SUCKS!
