As I had awoke the other day,and relized that I had caught a cold, it got me to thinking about medicine.With all the advanced technologies we have in the 21st century,with live saving surgical technics,advanced life support and various vaccines for most diseases like smallpox, polio ect.which we've managed to wipe - out were still styimied on how to cure the common cold.If you look at it a certian way,it is rather a contridiction in terms,that we have all this advanced technology,procedures,keeping people alive longer thru these technologies,but alas the common cold still runs amok. Now,I'm not one to complain,but in a way,if you look at it with a bit of humor,it is a bit of head scratcher. Who knows maybe someday soon with all the technology now and into the future we will finally find a way to knock - out the pesky common cold. after all we were able to knock - out polio,small pox and a score of other bad ones.
