Am an lpn, and Rn nursing student, my job is not accomadating very well because of my schedule in school, i have one more semester after these semester, so am looking for another job, but solely for night shift, i have gone on interviews, and will get the position, but would it be a smart thing to do, so close to graduation, and this semester being a bit of a challenge, would this be an advantage or disadvantage ? advice pls.

Are you talking about working night full time or part-time on the weekends? I personally would not try to work full time nights while in school. Now maybe if it's just on Friday and Saturday night, that would be doable. Being so close to graduating, you need to focus on school. I'd hate for you to blow it b/c you're trying to work too much.

Working nights is really difficult.  Less staff, interrupted sleep or you can't sleep during the day.  Not getting enough sleep.  If it was me, I'd try to stay on days

It is too bad they are not working with you on your needs. You would think that they would be flexible. It would benefit them to do so.
