It really fries my bacon, when someone has to come into a forum, particularly political and just make an off the wall, unkind comment.  You want to discuss, give an opinion terrific.  However, don't post something just because you want to be unkind.

I'm very flattered to be invited to join this group.  I used to be the type of person who was always eager to please, and terrified of upsetting the apple cart.  So, I kept my mouth shut and said only the things that would not make people mad at me (yeah, right).  But, there was no substance to it.  I had to learn the hard way that being a people pleaser is exhausting, and while my intentions were to keep the peace, others who used this approach were not so noble.  They were the snakes waiting in the grass, or they hid the knife behind their backs waiting to stab you in yours.

I have found that I really prefer people in general, and nurses in particular, who tell it like it is, who are sharp and mean to your face and leave out all the fluff and b.s.  They don't have time for the stupid stuff that gives nurses, and women in general, a bad reputation.  It's refreshing to be called a big mouth!  People know where I stand, and the ones who can’t handle me because of this either whither or grow up!

Politics...you can say whatever you want and not even mean it or believe in it. 

Lord knows I got in enough trouble when I was in the Army and couldn't keep my mouth shut! Too many push ups to count.....

LOL!!! Ya'll know me with my big my mouth. I've been known to insert my entire foot in it on more than one occaision.

Generally only open my mouth up to put my other foot in it.  Distinct taste of hoof n mouth lingers long after

I speak my mind.  I am forthright and to the point.  ask me what I think, I'll tell you the truth.  However, I also know how to say I am wrong when I am.  It is not easy, but I can do it!

I appreciate the invite to this group !   When I post anything from an article, it appears legit and worthy of learning.  I have learned from others posts and articles even if it chaps my ass to read it.  I hate learning if I'm wrong about stuff, but I'm a big girl..........I can take the heat, I think, and I am appreciative of legitimate articles.   Am I the only one who doesn't like it when there's an article that could in the least make  me wrong?  If there is an article that is NOT legitimate, my defense is 'Im a freaking nurse and not a political science specialist'.  If it appears respectable, I'm proud of myself for finding it!  However, in the whole gist of nursing link, I have learned alot from  several nurses who specialze in areas that I dont and have tons of respect for you.  Thanks for knowledge.......alot of appreciate learning stuff.  When the election is over, I'll still be a nurse and love my job.

Boob jobs.........reduction absolutely yes.  augmentation it's your body and if you feel better having an augmentation then it's your choice.  I'm not on this earth to judge you for what you want to do with your body.

So what's wrong with telling it like it is.?   What's wrong with the truth?  I for one do not like "sugarcoating".

Frosts my butt, now thats funny! Never heard that one before. And guys I know all about being stabbed in the back at work. Work buckoo overtime and have to call in sick cause the baby is sick and can't go to daycare. FORGET IT! I'll never hear the end of it. Now everytime I work extra they wait and see if I will call in. Poop heads!
