I'm kind of curious, has anyone else seen this show?  I've been watching it and have found it to be very entertaning.  It's pretty dark, but there are a lot of funny moments.  The last episode I saw even had a situation where a character got a case of priapism.  I believe the show takes place in Louisiana, and I love the way the characters talk.  I rather enjoy southern accents.

It's not bad, some of the ignorant comments piss me off a bit.  There's a lot of sex too, which isn't bad, but enough already.

Tara needs to be punched, Lafayette cracks me up, and Sam is a hottie.

I watch the show and love it , even though its a drama the comedy is what keeps me watching week after week. also that fact that the lead character can hear the thoughs of others, wouldnt that be cool to able to do that.  I love the fact that she is drawn to someone that is different from the normal "towns people".  This is the only show that I will now stop studying to watch. LOL

How can ya not like someone named "Sookie"? LOL

I am now working on reading the "Living Dead In Dallas"...so far so good.

I especially liked the locale of the fictional "Bon Temps" because

the characters mention so many familiar places where my relatives live in Louisiana.

I think all the sex is kind of annoying also, but I always keep in mind that it's just fiction.  I think the point of fiction is that things can happen that don't necessarily happen in real life.  I'm glad that other people are watching the show too, it's fun to see what other people think about it.  I didn't even know that there were books that the show is based on.  Maybe I'll check them out if I ever have time. 

I watched Tru Blood for the first time last night at a friend's house.  It is absolutely nothing like the books and I much prefer the books.  There is sex in the books, but nothing like in the tv series.  Apparently they have yet to introduce who Sam is and other characters which make books so entertaining

Well in the books, Jason does not turn into a vamp but a wereleopard.  Sam is were animal also.  I think there are far to many holes in this series and are nothing like the books.  I'm sticking to the books

go to the library, that's what I do.  I didn't say Sam was a wereleopard I said he was a wereanimal.  In the book he changes into a collie....probably why I like him

Has anybody been keeping up with this show?  Does anybody besides me think it was Sam running nekked in the woods a couple episodes ago?  Does anybody else besides me think Sam is that doggie that hangs out around his bar?  Dmazment said Sam morphed into something...........maybe he was de-morphing and didn't have time to grab his britches?   I hope yall start posting on this show again.  Its one of those shows I change the channel fast because Im embarrassed to have anybody catch me watching it.    When I was watching Family Guy, I clicked one channel up right when my husband came in from work...............the channel I changed it to was Jeopardy.  He said "Now I know your wern't watching THAT'.

Ok...................what was that creepy lady Tara almost ran over when she was trying to get her DUI?   Her mom's demon popped over into her, LOL.  Did yall see her jerk that lady's wig off in the drug store?   I was hoping somebody would post on here!  Dmazment...........if you will tell me, I wont bug you for a while over this.  I ordered the dang books on amazon and cant wait.  My library has had these books on checkout for weeks, and there's a waiting list for them.  I live in a tiny little town with 3 stoplights, their selection is really poor.
