Patient/Family Care Study is an academic exercise which is a detailed report on the holistic care rendered to Patient/Family. It is an important in my country, Ghana for a final year student in a Nursing Training College to write such report.Tthe care study enables the student nurse to provide holistic care to a chosen patient and also improve his/her ability to work efficiently and effectively with little or no supervision. The student nurse is also able to put into practice the knowledge, skills and understanding of various aspects of his/her three year training before the State Registered Nursing DIploma is awarded. The care given to the Patient/Family is based on the nursing process approach inwhich data is collected during the period of assessment, analyzed by identifying Patient/Family problems and care is planned. This careis evaluated to see the extent to which the problem was solved.
