I am just plain irritated over the rudeness, misinformation, name calling, anger, ignorance, unwillingness of either side to see the other side in the political discussions, which some of us have chosen to no longer participate in.  Those topics have been reduced to trashy attacks, nitpicking, childish responses and shows ignorance when slanted, untrue emails are still being utilitzed as facts. 

It is beyond me, how a group of educated people can continually lower themselves to this very low level.  I love a healthy debate, but once it becomes a mudslinging free for all, I'm absolutely done.

While the topic Why OR nurses eat their young is a great one, this is about politics where women and men tend to lose perspective and get personal and religious when discussing politics.  The separation of church and state is a great concept, but it doesn't seem to hold true when discussing politics.

Over and over again, people post Obama is a muslim, when he is not and it's then said this is why they wouldn't vote for him.

We are here to help one another and become distant friends in the nursing field. Some of these postings I see are strange, very strange. I like to laugh just like the next person, but this isn't necessary.

Sam, you won't see anything on here but dissatisfaction, hatred and an overdose of vitriol. Like I said, what's going on Nov. 5...will the verbal beatings continue?  No one replied. Whining and complaining are the only things that get some people up in the morning, no matter what "profession" they're in. Ignore them. It takes two to argue. Mostly they complain about ABusyRN2go. Some are jealous because she's a moderator and some don't like her political posts. At least she speaks her mind and is willing to sign her name. Alot of the world cannot stand to see or hear the truth, so they resort to personal hateful remarks. She can handle herself quite well. Remember, what goes around, comes around.

I started this topic.  I was frustrated and irritated and I did not mention anyone's name nor did I point any fingers except in generalities and I said we are all guilty.  I owned up I was part of it in the beginning, so does this satisfy you sap?

well since most nurses work varying shifts and have different days off and do not work monday through friday, we're all on here at various times through out the day
