Posted over 4 years ago Has anyone taken the ATI proctor NCLEX predictor test? When I took it, it said I had a 99% chance of passing my NCLEX the first time, but how reliable is this, does anyone know? |

| Posted over 4 years ago Congratulations on passing your boards. I recently took the ATI predictor and received a 99% chance of passing. How do you think the predictor compared to the NCLEX exam? |

| Posted over 4 years ago It seems as though the results on the ATI RN Predictor are fairly reliable - so long as you study the same way for the NCLEX as you did for the ATI. Our school uses the ATI Predictor as a "final" of sorts in our program, we were required to pass the Predictor within the 90th percentile (indication of passing the NCLEX) or we could not graduate. My instructors said that many of the people who passed the ATI RN Predictor with high scores (and high probability of passing the NCLEX rates) felt that they did not have to study any further for boards, since they scored so well on the Predictor. WRONG. The advice given to me was to study the same way for boards and the ATI RN Predictor's estimations should be correct. Congratulations on passing your boards!

| Posted over 4 years ago I took the Arnett test- I received a 99% I was told I could not fail nclex. I studied and passed- just remember studying is more of a review- you have learned a lot in the 2-4 years you were in nursing school nclex is a test on all of this- That is huge. The other thing is right now you are studying and going to school everyday and learning- your brain is in this mode. A month or more after school is finished your brain is no longer in that mode and you will start to loose things- so if you keep studying a little bit everyday then you keep yourself in that mode and help retain your info at the front. So usually these tests are good indicators but they are relying on you to keep studying and to take the test in a timely manner- that is the other thing the longer you wait to take your test the more chance to fail it. |
