I nevered listened to her, I always listens to Dr. Phil.

 Just to clarify, Dr. Laura DID raise Derrick, she came into the radio show for 2 hours a day to broadcast the show and Lou was watching Derrick, she never put him with anyone else to watch nor did he ever go to day care. She came from very meger starts and always just wanted to help others. I have known her a very long time, please do not make accusations about someone or assumptions, if you have questions about her I would be more than happy to answer them. I do not agree with every word she says, but overall her words are trying to get people to do the right thing for there children and family how could THAT be a bad thing? The money she raises from her books and hand made jewerly goes 100% to our Military families. I still fail to see why this is a bad thing and why you would choose to bag on her because you did not have all the facts. I hope this does not turn into a political debate where people are posting just anything even if it is not accurate.  Can you give an example of how else she has been a hypocrit? Like I said I have listened and know her a long time and have not heard or seen hypocrit yet, but if you know something I do not, please share.

 Deb it is okay she is not for everyone, she is very abrupt and opinionated mostly I agree with her but on some things I do not, I scream at my radio sometimes when I think she could have done something differently, but overall she has done a ton of good for most people.  Just like anything else in life, some agree some do not, I think she tries to be fair and does not let things she believes in get in her way, she is a Jew and yet does not try and put down other people right to there own religion and views, I can at least respect that, and I know her motives are always for what is right.

I have never listened to Dr Laura but I know that NOBODY is always right on any subject because we're all human.  However, although I did not personally hear her program, I believe for anyone to have a truly successful marriage, both parties must "worship" the other.  Either can take the lead but sometimes it's easier for the woman to do so because of the more sensitive nature of women.  This is a generality, of course.  Certain boundaries must be established, but the undeniable fact is that you cannot control the spouse's actions, but you can influence them with your own wether that be for good or for bad.

I used to listen to her but now find her very offensive to the morals she so calls to stand by. My thought after listnening to her for the past 10 or more years, was that she supported mothers who were "stay at home mom's" and those mothers who had to work. did everthing they could to be there for there children. As a nurse, wife, and mother, who was needed as far as income, I sacrificed and worked every weekend when my children were born. My husband took the responsibilities on during the weekend while I did the Mon thru Fri. This kept my children out of day care! I find my and my husbands sacrifices offensive to the so called morals Dr Laura swears by. She states that though she does not agree with Sarah Pailin running for VP, Who by the way has FIVE children and one who is a four month old special needs child, a pregnant unwed, high school student(no surpise there) daughter, SHE Dr Laura will STILL vote for McCain! That's real great untill this so called woman, Dr Laura, who is supposed to represent what has been lost as the true American Family, supports this VP who is not a mother to her failing and deteriorating family and neglected children! How much time will that take away from what her children needs are and what will the cost be if John Mcain croaks and she has to take over as Presedent? Might as well Kiss Motherhood GOODBYE!!!    It is totally discusting and Dr Laura is no longer a HERO  that she portrayed herself to be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 I certainly respect your opinion, she is NOT for everyone, as I said I do not agree with everything she says, but overall I think she tries to get people to do the right thing in life. Her opinion on Palin is just that her special needs baby really needs mommy more than ever that is all, but I think her husband is Mr Mom and that works just as well I think. I appreciate everyones opinion, that God her son and my daughter and many more wonderful kids are fighting for our right to freedom and freedom of speech.
