Nursing is a very demanding job but on the other hand, we don't want to have to leave the field due to a disability. There are ways to work around it. Can anyone list some specialties or positions that would be good for someone with a disability to work in?

Could you be more specific with the disability?

Without knowing what it is: maybe try a doctors office or a nursing home? There is always information technology nursing and teaching too?

There are also a lot of paper work jobs that nurses can do, some that require nurses. Such as some of the registries. In my area both the tumor regestry and the stroke regestry can be done on a computer from home. Also the organ donor organizations have jobs that nurses can do.
