| Posted over 4 years ago It depends on what kind of peds nurse you are. A NICU nurse will work in a hospital with premature newborn or newborn that are born with severe problems. If you work in a peds floor in a hopsital, you will see children hospitalized for asthma, heart or other lung conditions, etc. If you work in an office, you would see sick children and children for physicals and immunizations. There are many other areas in pediatrics and each have their specialized job descriptions. I have been in peds for 14 years and have loved every minute of it! |

| Posted over 4 years ago Oh man!! I WANT TO BE A NICU NURSE!! :) That is sooo great!!! I'll bet you LOVED every minute of it!! I really cannot wait until I have the opportunity to do that! It will be many years down the road though.. ! |
