Posted over 4 years ago I too am a christian nurse and with our family practice, attact more people than most. What most of the patients come away with is not only treatment for their medical issues but a caring, christian approach to their problems. I couldn't have asked for a better environment to work in. |

| Posted over 4 years ago I love working in a Christian environment... That is the practice of our school's hospital. We provide pastoral care as well as paer of our subject. It 's really nice to connect with patients spiritually making our nursing practice very holistic. |

| Posted over 4 years ago So many of us don't have that type of environment. I go to a practice that the doctor and all her staff are Christians. She is very good. She is very thorough and she prays over all her patients. |

| Posted over 4 years ago I would enjoy working in a Christian environment myself. But I feel I am able to so much more for coworkers and patients when you have non-believers as well. I asked God to work through me and he has blessed me to be able to help bring others to him. "There are those that look at things the way they are, and ask why? I dream of things that never were, and ask why not."

| Posted about 4 years ago I truly love the environement that I work in. We start our staff meetings with prayer and that sets the tone for the whole day. Even the ones in my office that don't go to church think it is great that we are in an environment that believes in prayer. |

| Posted about 4 years ago This is a real good topic! I had a long relationship with a Christian retirement community years ago. I started there as a CNA bc I didn't have that states license, when I got it I went back there as a LVN, left a few times & went back again. But some of the same staff was still there, and they remembered me! All the residents had to serve 20yrs in some kind of ministry. It was a real blessing hearing about their ventures. The best DON I ever had in my career was there. So,it does make a difference I think. You share a common bond of putting Christ first, in your work ethic and attitude. And to recieve the same respect back toward you ....is awesome! |
