There are a lot of fields and specialties in nursing to choose from. So, what do you want to become or pursue?

For me, I just graduated last April 2008 from my Bachelor's degree in nursing and I really want to start working in as an OR nurse when I pass the NCLEX. If the hospital really requires at least a year of experience, then becoming a med-surg nurse would be a good start. I really want to pursue in becoming a nurse anesthetist though. I really enjoyed assisting in surgical procedures back in college. It was really the best area for me with a lot of learning experience.

hi!i worked in saudi arabia for 3 years in OR,i was part of the anesthesia team and its really a challenging field and i wanted to pursue that when i came here.I asked around on how to get started and basically you need to have at least 1 year ICU experience(which i dont have) and have to study fulltime for about 24-36 months depending on the school..the odds are little bit against me but i'm determine to have CRNA attach to my name someday.....and i'm still in love with the anesthesia works.....
