i'm a new p.n. student i will like to know if anyone have any advice on how to study effectively?

- Organization is key. Don't forget the power of taking well written notes with dates and plenty of referencing to old material in the margins. Also, color coding classes and notes is a handy way to gather materials together.

-Time management. When you are working be sure to stay focused and be in a place, like a library, where you can avoid distractions. Be sure, however, that you have time to PLAY because it will make studying easier later.

-SLEEP

-Go to you professor if you need help. You pay them to teach you!

For your most difficult classes, I would recommend buying additional texts (if you can afford it). That's what I did for Anatomy and Micro and it really helped. Plus it is much more interesting than reading the same book over and over.
