Posted about 1 year ago How do you know when to stop with education. I am currently in LPN school and plan on going on for my associates RN. I am not sure what to think about going farther. |

Posted about 1 year ago I am in the same boat as you and i have just not set any limits. I would love to eventually get my masters in nursing but if i end up With my RN that is ok also. I am just going to take it one step at a time, and go from there. I dont want to set any unrealistic goals, but have in my mind that it is possible.

Posted about 1 year ago I am an LPN. My plan was to continue to get my RN...I still may someday, but I really enjoy the time spent with a patient as an LPN. I think you know when to stop when it feels good, right where you are? if you can't find your niche, then I think it is time to continue. "a day without freckles is like a night without stars"

Posted about 1 year ago You are the only one that can really answer that question. It just all depends on your goals. Many are very happy doing what they do and have no desire to go on and that is okay. The main thing is you do what you wnat to do. Ginny

Posted about 1 year ago I agree with the rest of the nurses, you are the only one who can make that decision. I took a break between my AAS and BSN. I am taking a break now until I feel like tackling the GRE! Do it in your own time and you can't go wrong. You may resent school/work otherwise...
