I never had a favorite character as they all made the show what it was.

I have only watched probably two shows, I am a big fan of Grey's Anatomy though!!!

I am not afriad to debate that Sex in the City is better than Grey's-sorry, dhickey42!

Asking about your fav SITC is like asking your favorite Beatle (except that the Beatles are the best foursome EVER)- everyone has a favorite but each played their part.

I thought Carrie was the best but that Samantha was hilarious. Also, I looooooved BIG!

I've never watched sex in the city so I do not have a favorite.

I really loved Charlotte's wardrobe and how put together she was, but Carrie seemed more "real" to me than the other girls.

I like all of the girls for who they were, can't wait to see the movie! My fav man was Mr. Big!

They all have their own special qualities. But to me Samantha is the best. She knows what she want and doesn't care what anybody thinks. If she wants this man she goes after it.

I like them all: Carrie, Samantha, Amanda, and Charlotte. I like Carrie's down-to-earth ways, Samantha's wit, Amanda's intelligence, and Charlotte's 'innocence.' I watch re-runs as I have a glass of red wine.

Hmmm....a fav is almost impossible to have, as all of them have certain elements that add to the whole experiance of the show! However, I do wish that I had Samantha's abandon....

I think that I have to agree with all of them adding specific elements to the show... they are all sort of dear to my heart in their own way. I got a great deal on the boxed set through Ebay. I will pull one out and watch it from time to tome.

Which character do you indentify most with ? Good question. I think the producer of the show and the writers when this was conceivec of to begin with, took some of the magic that is in every woman and gave it a full blown character. I identify with all of them. Samantha... though I am not as wild in my personal life, I hold some of the same views... but Carrie... oh my yes, the writer in her very pithy. Great quote from the show on the opening of this thread. About it being tempting to look for the perfect boss, partner, outfit but that perhaps what we can best hope to achieve is to make the best of what we have got and accessorize, timeless and priceltess. Miranda and Charoltte they have a place in the quieter parts of who I am ... the angst they have, the adventurer each of them is. Nope, cant pick just one.
Bless us all here... SITC is suffereing from ADD... people here are more about what is happening more recently. you will have more quotes and contributors when the movie comes out in May. There are whispers of them brinigng the show back as well... fingers crossed.

I have to say that although, I love all of the characters on SITC, Charlotte is my favorite. I like her perpetual hope in fairytale endings and the fact that she comes across so prim and proper, yet underneath it all, there is an insight that isn't all that innocent.

I, too, am looking forward to the movie.

My favorit character is definitely Carrie. I LOVE LOVE LOVE her sense of style. She has definitely worn a few flops, but for the most part her sense of style is RIGHT ON!! I loved the episode in which she is carrying a purse that is a faux horse head. I would never carry one of those myself, but it sure was adorable. I LOVE CARRIE.

I identify with Carrie tremendously, but Miranda is my fav.  I love her authority, and how assertive she is.  Now that is a powerful woman!
