Power is in numbers! Did you know that  according to the 2004 National Sample Survey of Registered Nurses, there are 2.9 million registered nurses who are dispersed in every voting district in the nation (U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, n.d.)????

Even a small number of us, fighting for change could be a formidable force! Think about it! You do make a difference!

http://www.nursingworld.org/joinana.aspx Join ANA, American Nurses Association

https://nsnamembership.org/Step1Member.aspx?Type=New Join NSNA, National Student Nurses Association

Or...Join you local state association! http://healthguideusa.org/state_nursing_associations.htm

Your school doesn't have a chapter of it's own? Start one! Ask NSNA  how... http://www.nsna.org/pubs/pieces/index.asp

Most specialties have their own organizations if you want to be more specific. Joining an organization increases awareness and feeds funds into the projects that matter most to us. Look into it...

Thanks, and happy hunting!
