So I am finally finishing up my 2nd and final year at my Community College. I am getting ready to apply for a 4 year school to obtain my BSN. I have the applications filled out and the stamps already on the envelopes but I have one major problem...I have no idea who to ask to write my letters of reccomendation. I have been attending classes for 4 semesters, 3 of which have been night classes, this is my first semester taking full time day classes so I really havn't gotten the opportunity to develop strong relatioships with any of the teachers. I was very close with my highschool guidence conselor and assistant principles...but is that going back too far? (I graduated in 2006).

Please Help!!!

So close yet so far :o(

Even though you are not close with your instructors, you could still ask them to write a letter for you. Good student, good grades that is really all that matters. You could also ask your clinical instructor to write letters. I had two of my clincal instructors write my letters. I also asked my nursing director for a letter. I was not close with her but I did have the grades and conduct to receive a good letter. Hope it helps.
