I was just wondering how is everybody spending tomorrow night?  I want to send a request in to our leaders to make election night on a Friday night for the future.   Alot of people will be getting wasted tomorrow night..................either in celebration or in mourning.  Some of us have a better chance getting the day off if the next day is a Saturday.  Personally, I rotate weekends.  This is a working weekend for me, so nothing changes for me    I already have my phenergan onhand for the puking because I probably will let my old pal 'Jose' out of the cupboard.   I, myself, drink rarely..............but when I do, I get tanked.  When this thing is over...............we have American Idol to look forward to!

Funny…

I imagine our liqueur cabinet will be reduced by a few ounces as well.

THANKS KAYAK...............not the same without limes!  Who wants to be the one to do the wake up calls on Wednesday morning?   My husband is a teetoteler <i know that is not spelled right>.  He'll drag my ass out of bed, I'm sure.

I will be studying, I am beginning to fall behind and getting scared I may not make it. I will probably have the presidential news on in the background though.

I've been looking forward to this for months! Going out on the town (haha Akron, Ohio is such a HUGE town) with my very best nurse friend Todd to celebrate. We won't be going to sleep until the final word, of that I'm sure!

I'll be doing my best not to get into an arguement with my husband, who always supports the opposite candidate I do. The only time we had an agreement on anything political, was when Bobbie Jindal ran against Kathleen Blanco in Louisiana. He lost, and man did our state live to regret that. Katrina showed how unfit Blanco was as Governor. Jindal won this last race.

As for imbibing, well, I'm off Wed, so I may have to partake of some beverages of the liquor persuasion. LOL!! I'm being one of them thar fancy talkin coonass rednecks! Damn, this is a great country.

Go out and vote hoping the next  President and the next generation of leaders to improve healthcare for the people we care for.

Many will get knee walking comode hugging drunk.....LMAO cdnurse, that's a good one! Our usual comment about drunkards praying to the porcelain gods is getting a little old. Tonight I'll be doing my usual thing, nothing special. I doubt we'll have a clear cut winner tonight anyway.

We all watched the news as a family, chips and dip and pizza, it was pretty clear early on the Obama was going to win and now it is done, we watched Obama's acceptance speech, he is a good speaker that is for sure. he gave a great speech, Mc Cain made a good speech as well as he ended his final bid for president. Mc Cain has fought for this country for most of his life, he is a patriot and will support Obama as the president I am sure. This was a good night tonight actually, the kids were able to be a part of history being made so now let us all go to sleep tonight in peace with the promise that tomarrow will be a better day.

Both men gave incrediibly good speeches; it's just that my man's was the concession speech and Senator Obama's was the acceptance speechI hope that BO will be able to tell Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid  when sometihng isn't good for HIS country, ro you and me, so please join me in a prayer for a man who, until late this afternoon, I was still actively campaigning against.

I never thought of JM as much of a speaker,  but he surprised me this evening. He  continues to deserve the respect of so many people for not having just  talked the talk, but having walked the walk. Like Abusy, said, he's fought for his  country his  whole life and he's not planning to stop  now. JM is a true patriot who  will hopefully  teach another true patriot the "washington  ropes."

ALSO LIKE ABUSY  SAID,  LET'S ALL  GO TO SLEEP AND WAKE UP TOMORROW IN  PEACE AND WORK IN HARMONY TOWARDS THE GREATER GOOD.
