| Posted over 4 years ago What I value most is the chance to work with the most vulnerable of society and the rewards of seeing even the smallest of progress. |

| Posted over 4 years ago I work am an OR nurse, so I work with all kinds of people. It is difficult to someone about to undergo surgery to put their trust in your hands, but they do it everyday. I will hold anyone's hand that is afraid, and give them the caring support they need to get through that roller coaster ride just before induction. The reward is when I see them awake later in recovery, and they actually remember me, and thank me; or I will be there holding their hand when they wake up and see the look of recognition and calmness in their eyes. Those are my rewards. |
