hi! id like to know. if i can apply for nclex if i dont have a local license?im a canadian citizen but i finished my studies in the philippines this year...im already in california...do i still have to get a license in the philippines?im not a citizen there anymore so could someone here give me an answer regarding this matter?thank you!

Are you an immigranthere in the States? I'm an immigrant and I graduated in the Philippines last April. I didn't take the local board as well... They don't require the local license if you're an immigrant or U.S. citizen. Instead, you have to make a written report why you don't have a license there. It is best that you call the California Board of Registered Nursing.  Here's the number (916)322-3350...
