Posted over 4 years ago As we revel in the exhausted quiet of post-election, I thought this would be a good time for us to look forward a few years. Take your best guess as to where you personally will be at the time of the 2012 election.
Here's what I see in my crystal ball-
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, worn out and screaming "Woo-hoo"!!! |

| Posted over 4 years ago I have been really trying to be good, perky and upbeat lately. It's so much more fun to argue and I'm bored. My crystal ball MIGHT include that in 2012 the Republican Party not use the same staff McCain did for his campaign and do a drug test on all applicants for the staff jobs. His staff stunk to high heaven. My ball is still blinking and I will see if it says anything perky or upbeat. Right now it reminds me of a mood ring I had in the 70's and showed that charcoal color when your hands were ice cold! We only have one heart, take care of it! Angie |

Not sure I will stay long but hey, you want to debate come on in. In four years, I just want to be healthy, happy and alive. Sad isn't it. I can't think of anything more... I WENT TO SINCLAIR COMMUNITY COLLEGE AND CAPITAL UNIVERSITY IN THE LATE 1980'S AND EARLY 1990'S. LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU FELLOW NURSING STUDENTS. |

I am not in the least bit dangerous since I know squat about it! Thanks for the invite.. We only have one heart, take care of it! Angie |

Hey, I totally agree with you on this one MamaDawn. My dream house has an olympic sized pool in the backyard, so I can swim laps. If not an olympic sized pool, I will have to settle for an endless pool (sort of like a treadmill for swimming laps). One can wish, right?

| Posted over 4 years ago wow this is a great question to personally reflect on! lets see... -Finish nursing school, work in neonatal -live independantly, have my own home (in Lincoln Park) -Voulenteer for the Palestine Red crecent Society -By my mother a car : ) -write a book ....there so much more to do in four years, to much to keep everyone reading "Dreams come true; without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them." - John Updike |
