I have worked at several MD hospitals and I find it very interesting how different the experiance is, even between units in the same hospital.  Some of the units have problems and it is very frustrating that most of them cannot be solved because the supervisors don't seem to feel that they should listen to and work with their staff.  My favorit 2 places have been the Cardiac Step Down Unit at PG Hospital and the Med/Surg/Oncology unit at Suburban Hospital.
