Posted over 4 years ago I went through the college network for my RN. The college I graduated from was Excelsior. Before making any decisions, check with your board of nursing and make sure that they will accept a degree from that university. In 2004, Excelsior College was the only distance learning college that the NC board of nursing recognized. They did not recognize Indiana State University.

Posted over 4 years ago THANK YOU FOR THE RESPONSE SHAN, I GOT THE INFO TO CONTACT INDIANA STATE UNIVERSITY FROM THE CALIFORNIA STATE BOARD OF NURSING WEBSITE. WERE YOU PLEASED WITH THE COLLEGE NETWORK? SEE WHAT IS WOULD HAVE TO DO IS COMPLETE ABOUT 10 COURSE MODULES THROUGH THE COLLEGE NETWORK AND THEN DO OTHER CLASSES THROUGH INDIANA STATE UNIVERSITY AND IN THE END I WILL HAVE A BACHELOR'S. IT ALL SOUNDS GREAT BUT I JUST WOULD LIKE SOMEONE TO TALK TO THAT'S DONE SOMETHING SIMILAR!

Posted over 4 years ago I liked the College Network, but I found out later that I probably would have gotten out cheaper if I had gone straight through the university. I really liked the condensed study guides they offered. I had no problem passing the exams. Let me know if you need anything or want to talk.

| Posted over 3 years ago I live in California also. I received my LVN licenses by challenging the LVN boards. I checked with the college network, and they said effective September 2008, the state of California will allow all LVN's who challege the Californa State Boards to do the Indianna State University Online LVN to BSN.

Posted about 3 years ago It would be so nice if these programs had to make it very clear what they can do for you and what they can't. You don't know what you don't know so how do you ask all the right questions. I just hate to hear about people who did research and thought they ask the questions but missed important info and end up screwed. I was almost one of them--in fact came very close.
