Hey, I was wondering if anyone here has an endless pool or has used one before. How does it compare to swimming laps in a traditional pool?

In case you are wondering what an endless pool is, it is basically like a treadmill for swimming laps. This is the best that I can do to explain what it is. Here's a link to see what it looks like:

Anyway, if anyone has used one before, I'd love to hear what you think about it.

I never used an endless pool, but I've seen them used in 'swimming world' as part of the training regimen. THey can be used when you don't have a lot of space, but I don't know if they provide the normal amount of drag and wave; or if they have wave machines. I think the resistance can  be adjusted.

I have used one, but  I don't really care for them. Personally I get bored with no change of scenery, lol. I prefer the gym where I pull out my snorkel and resistance gloves and swim the lanes for awhile. Oh, and yes the resistance can be adjusted, as can the water temp.
