a friend of mines accidently took too much metformin(she has pcos) and instead of taking 2000mgs a day she took 4000mgs, she realized her mistake after taking it that way for about 3wks. she called pharmacist, they said she should be fine her blood sugar will be low. would this cause her to feel hot all over, i mean when she takes her temp its only slightly higher around 98.8 but her body feels so much hotter, and she is always tired, and she did have stomach cramps and neausa, but it went away, did i mention she also took clomid but her las dose was in september. would taking too much metformin make her feel like this, she isn't pregnant she had her period this weekend. her doc said some very unkind things to her so she doesnt have anyone to call.
thanks to anyone who responds.

As far as I know of it shouldn't.Did she have her hormons checked lately or even possibly here thyroids. There is too many things that could cause it with out a dr. checking her.
