| Posted over 4 years ago JHU has 2 tracks for their BSN program. 1. Traditional BSN route: JHU is an upper division nursing school. This means that you have to complete approximately 60 credits in pre-requisites before even applying to the program. You then transfer into the program and complete your remaining 60 credits to give you the grand total of 120 credits for your BSN. 2. Second Degree BSN: This means that if you already have a Bachelor's degree in any field other than nursing, you then have the option of getting your BSN in an accelerated program. There are also a few core science pre-reqs for the second degree option. Here is a link to their website with more information about their BSN programs. http://www.son.jhmi.edu/academics/academic_programs/bacc/ Also, JHU's SON has online chats quite frequently. Admissions advisors are available during the chat sessions to answer all of your questions. They also have transcripts from previous chats available on their website. The chats are a great way to get information about their programs without having to attend the open house. http://www.son.jhmi.edu/apply/more/chat/ Hope some of this helped. |
