I am quite conflicted and am in the need of some advice. I would like to pursue a career in nursing, however would also really love to teach English in Japan to japanese students for a year after completing my schooling.

If I were to obtain my 4 year degree in Nursing, would it still be possible for me to take a year break in order for me to go to Japan and teach? It's something I have always wanted to do, but my desire for Nursing is also great.

I am currently a senior in high school, and in order for me to teach English in Japan, I am only required to have a four year degree (in anything i choose) plus know japanese (which i am already working on).

I really need advice on this, so any help you be greatly appreciated!
