See, something like this really irritates me. As a nurse, I have worked really hard to earn my degree, license and my position at work. I hate it when my husband tells people I am a nurse. The guys immediately assume that I dress in a provocative outfit and dance with a pole at work. We are nurses, NOTstrippers.

Lawsy...............my poor husband, lol.   He's not even allowed to go to Hooters........they have wings and burgers at Appleby's and Chili's.    Dont get me wrong, he's not henpecked, there's just one thing I am firm on, and its respect for women.  This whole slutty nurse thing is so disrespectful.   I think waitresses who work at establishments are deplorable on one hand...........but on the other, maybe they have kids to feed, I'm so wishy washy.  At least they are working................they just aint working on my husband.  I waited tables at Longhorns in nursing school, and the bar.................we had to wear jean shorts and I hated it; but you get those  guys strong drinks and doubles,  <as long as they had a driver> your tips tripled........here is how Santa came to our house for over 2 years.  Oh well.

Mandy, I'm sorry to have offended you. That website does not intend to promote 'sexy naughty nurses'. It simply 'talks about them' in a reality take. I suggest you had better take a look into the whole content, not just one or twowords, and I suggest you read ALL of what is in the post you are reading. If anything, the ''naughty nurse'' section is a satire (me making fun of) on people who think of nurses as ''naughty''. I've actually gotten emails saying that page is not naughty at all (which was the whole idea of it). ;)

As to my ''sponsored advertisement'', (Google adsense), I see none of the porn you are talking about. If what is showing up on your screen is porn, please do send me a screen capture of what you are seeing and I will address to that matter. As of right now, I do not see any porn advertisements on the page itself. Maybe your computer is acting weird?

Although, like I said, I have nothing against sexy. People think nurses are sexy, that is their choice to believe. It's part of being human. However, when the presence of wearing ''nurse uniforms'' (real or not) for ''work'', strutting around, sitting on random guy's laps, taking unnecessary pictures with them (the ones I posted were not even as close to being bad as the ones I chose to not post that was submitted), making them into somewhat of a norm.. that's where I draw my line and I, as with most, do not like it.

Though, to think that simply ''sexy'' is demeaning women, then I suggest you sue Victoria's Secret, and everything else on TV. I simply just ''get real'' when it comes to these things. I am not an extremist of any sort.

Regarding your problems with feces, (I find that funny actually) I simply posted ''nurses hardly deal with feces'' which was my reply to what was mentioned on the video. Do you even know why I even posted that? It is because in the research of what people think when someone says 'nurse', they think 'sexy', but when they say 'nurse in the job', they think 'wiping poo'. You would not have had all that issue if you actually, again, read/listened to the content.

Don't assume things =) I know you know better. Thank you, though, for taking a look and I understand why you assumed different things. Satires usually go over most serious people's heads. I learned that in English class in nursing.

People work at different jobs for different reasons. And most of us just jump to the conclusion of why...Well we've all heard of the word "assume"..I have personally known strippers in my classes,both learning and teaching.I've also had models and janitors,etc.. The reason's for their work was tuition.. One of my students, had 5 children and a quadrapedic husband from Wiet Nam..She stripped to support them and to go to nursing school..She was in my class..Let's try to give people the benefit of the doubt. I know there are people that are dancing just because of the money and the life it affords.. Bit not all, Itry to treat people with the greatest respect no matter what..
