Hi everyone I've been reading all the interesting forums and links on the site and it's great to have such a great site for Nurses. I'm an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse, which is kind of new over here... it's not an RN but almost, in that we can administer medications (except drugs of addiction) and are unable to cannulate. However we still do most everything an RN does and have a patient load. On the ward it's usually 4 patients or share/team nurse with 8. We work side by side with RN's in all facets of patient care, but earn a little less in that our course is one year with a mix of both college and hospital on the job training.... I love my job, as before this I was a ward Clerk for many years so now have stepped over to the other side.... anyway, nice to be here
