i was recently hired at an occupational medicine clinic. during the interview, i told my supervisor (current) that i wanted to try different areas of nursing for experience purpose. she then replied that too much experience is not good for you. did she really mean that the more experience you get the higher you pay will be?

probably-I'm not sure what she meant by that. I think you can never have enough experience.

Thats crazy! I'm on rotations now, 2 months in each ward and it's awesome. At our hospital it's really acceptable to take different contracts for short stays in other areas. Keeps us fresh, learning, and never in a rut. Your supervisor is probably reluctant to do the paperwork Ha ha
