I NEED ICU EXPERIENCE

Posted over 4 years ago I am a filipina nurse who just finished my 2 years contract in a long term facility here in NC.Im relocating to florida (i just got my florida license too) this month and i'm trying to get a job in ICU because i want to pursue my CRNA aspiration,the catch is that i never had an ICU experience,though i have 3 years anesthesia/PACU experience and at least 6 years med--surg experience.I need some advice on how to present myself in interview and on my re-sume given my inexperience in ICU.thanks a lot! |

| Posted over 4 years ago If you can't get into a ICU check your local cc. Some like mine have a 1 semester icu course for rn's so you can learn the routine and then the facilities you rotate through will most likely give you a job. |
