I would get the money in one lump sum, invest, finish school, work for a MINUTE.......  then I am not really sure, I already have a nice house and car, the kids have their college funds, and I have done a lot of traveling, I would definately buy more clothes.....

I would buy the unit I work on, new Dynamap BP setups for every room so nurses would not feel compelled to hide them in the bathrooms. Help those in need not in greed. Continue to work but elsewhere, cause jealousy is a very bad disease. Before I would leave the ST.Joes.  I would pay for new tires , brakes, and car repairs for nurses at the entire hospital. Pay off debts, buy kids a home for each, then buy my husband and I an RV with drop down door to haul the harleys and do some traveling nursing. To promote this dream, One of my best friends buys tues mega tickets for us and fri I buy mega tickets. Hey, you never know!

I have thought about this before..... I would pay all my bills, house, and car off. I would then share a portion with my family and husbands family. The rest I would save for travel and emergencies. Of course I would give 10% to church.....

I think I would keep working just go to PT/PRN and not FT.

I would first consult a really good financial planner; pay of all debts, buy a car and buy one of those huge RV's the music stars travel in with state of the art eqmt., I would invest in the market and hopefully be able to stop working and volunteer full time for the Red Cross Disaster Management Team.

Very Simple:

I would buy myself a house.   Go travel to Europe one more time, and maybe even Australia.   Then I would maybe donate some to a third world country or maybe donate my nursing skills for a year to a third world country.    I would love to help disadvantaged people.

I  would also provide well for the people I love.

First things first. I would change my phone number and take my name out of the local phone book.

I would pay off all my student loans and buy a house and make sure my daughter has a college fund so they don't have to worry about studnet loans. Then I would invest, invest invest. I would probably travel some but it's kinda hard with a young one. I would most definantly continue working. Extremely part time though. I couldn't not work after all that hard work to get there and plus I would get bored pretty easy.  Oh and for sure pay off my dads medical bills and house. Gosh I would really want to help out all my family but then there would be none left for me? So I will help my parents and MOVE!

With my lump sum, I would put some away for my step-daughters, give some to both my family and my husbands family, pay off my school loans, give to our Church in Grapevine (Fellowship Church), as well as give to Austin Street Center, a homeless shelter my family has volunteered at and given money and clothes too for years.....oh....and buy an Infiniti QX56.

My daughter would be more than happy to help me with such a dilemma. She would have an Infiniti in a different color for each day of they week!

Other than that, probably charity. Catholic Charities is an organization near and dear to my heart. It would be nice to see some good come out of the money.

all bills to include morgage, ensure parents are 'ok' with needs, churce tithes<spelling>?; donate to the 'sack lunch program for our local hungry children <it provides sack lunches to give to the kids on fridays to cover 2 meals for Saturday and Sunday.  I only heard about this program last week........our local 7th day Adventist church signed up with the national organization for our hungry kids in our area.  Ok, I've covered bills, mortgage, church and our local hungry kids <these kids are not homeless, they have a roof over their head, just not enough food>.  Ok, covered all of that.............rermodel the house, keep a low profile so losers wont be asking for handouts <Im related to that element>, and put a block on my phone so only certain folk can talk to me on the phone.  Im would NOT make anybody else in either my or my husbands famiy rich.   They can go get their own lotto ticket.

I would definitely pay off all of my debts, my kids bills and my grandfathers bills. Then I'd donate A percentage to a church. I would buy another ranch and build my dream home, buy myself a new car and my husband a 4x4 heavy duty 4 door truck. I would start a trust for my kids and their college education. I would donate funds for research to find cures for childhood cancers. I would continue to work but part time or prn so that I can travel. And I would build a large center with a soup kitchen in our home town for the homeless so they would have a safe place to shower, sleep, eat and socialize without the worry of getting kicked out. And I would also invest and save the rest.

I would prefer the lump sum to a 20 year payout,of course, but I'd tithe my 10%, take care of all my children and their families,  & donate to the local school system so that the music program, among other programs can continue. But the most important thing I'd do would be to set up a fund of some type that would be never-ending to help people with valid financial crises, such as medical expenses, being burned  out from fires or storms, etc. I would definitely continue to work, and maybe donate part of my income back to my job to defray costs there for needed medical costs.

Wow, it's hard to say!  We've always been pretty strapped ourselves.  I would definitely give to the homeless shelter where I live, St. Jude's Children's Research Hopital, the local Hospice, the senior center downtown and buy some nice stuff for the group home where my brother lives but not so much that they would loose their funding.  My husband and I have always hoped to retire and get one of those big RV's and see the country.  I think I would give some, but not alot to my kids.  They have to understand the work ethic, but I would secretly keep a stash to help them out in emergencies.  Do I have any left?  No fancy cars, no fancy houses, and would probably still work with the security that I'm there because I want to be, not because I have to be.

Oh yeah, I'd help out some dear friends.  Dawn died of Breast cancer at 44 after a long battle, she left a great husband and two kids, and they are trying to keep their heads above water.  I'd take care of the Medical bills, some mortgage payments and some money for the kids college.

Now is there any left?  If there is, I'd give to the school lunch program, so ALL the kids could have breakfast and lunch.

Then if there was any more left, I'd buy my husband all the camping and mountain gear he could carry, get him a ticket to Tibet so he could climb to the base camp, he's never wanted to summit.  He's such a good hard-working man he deserves something he's always wanted!

I would pay off my bills, school loans, buy a house and car, and find a good financial planner.  I would give to local food banks, etc.  I would still work, as I would find myself getting bored with nothing to do!

I'd like to think I would hand out bag lunches, and what not, but I believe that kinda quality comes from within and not because you get a bunch of cash. I mean, I'm a few pounds overweight, and will probably order pizza tonight for dinner. Truth is, despite my economic challenged situation, I probably could spare money and still get by alright. I might even go and see a movie this weekend, yet with the full knowledge that thousands of people will die of starvation today. I'm not trying to make the point that I'm a bad person, I just find it hard to believe I would become a better one just because I was handed a load of cash. So, I'm not going to try to justify my pizza and wine cooler by promising to feed the nations, because it probably wouldn't happen. I would continue learning and working hard, while raising my kids to do the same. I don't think I would pay off anyones bills who planned on sitting at home the rest of their life -- family or otherwise. I would make sure family had everything they needed as long as they were working for it, and even support a carrer change via education and living expenses. If I spent it on "stuff" it wouldn't be cars, houses, etc. It would go to fund "experiences" for friends, family, and the love of my life in between classes or work shifts. Trips to water parks, mini vacations, white water rafting, etc. I think I would use it fund quality time with the people I care about. Guess I'm doing what I love, and I'd use the money to keep on doing it, while spending more time with the people I love. idk

1.  After payiing off all my bills, I would be investing in an Investools training program.  By setting aside some of it for investment, I would create some new future income sources.

2.  I would fund my work-from-home business to get it growing in 1-2 years.

3.  I would give to some of my favorite charities...an already compiled list.

4.  I would invest in a time-share so when I travel back to Switzerland, I could always have a place of solitude where I could write and visit!!!!

5.  I would travel to see Rome, Italy; Athens, Greece; the Holy Land (depending on the news); and take an Alaskan cruise.

6.  I would begin planning and development of my two other business idesas.

Sewnew, I think that after I recovered from fainting, I would also change my phone number and take my name out of the local phone book first, then call a financial planner, give 10% to the church, donate to the sacoma society, pay off bills, make sure Lila gets her tuition for college paid off,   travel, buy a local hospital and run it right!!!! and invest!

The first thing i'm going to do is throw a big party. Then i'm going to take a few friends with me on vacation. Then i'm buying a house with all the furnishing. Once i'm situated i will give back to my community and then pay my way through nursing school.
