It seems like a good idea, but how can we be sure our info wont be accidently given out, or recieved as a result of solfware glich or hackers.  Also, I would hope it wouldn't keep students off the site.  Now I have seen people on here who fish for medical care, also we had a jerk being a jerk...............they called him/her a troll because he/she said inappropriate stuff on threads to include racial slurs.  Id like to see the jerks off.  Sounds ok, but I'm cautious.

I tired to edit my personal info but couldn't do it.  Some stuff you can change, but I couldn't get my last name or city off.  I sent a message to "Editor"  to ask how, and never heard back.  Does any one know how to edit that info? 

I would like to see some VERIFICATION done on this site to prove that you are a nurse or nursing student. 

 I think it is a good idea, one of the medical sites I also belong to is owned and run by doctors, in order to be accepted you must be an RN or higher than that in Medicine, you first give your lic number and they verify it and then you are accepted.  This would prevent stalkers or the few weirdos we have had here show up and end the solicitors that have tried to get in, although we nipped them in the bud, but it would work, not sure if this site is set up to do that though. I am just not sure with the students it would work out because who is to say the paper proof is real? And who on NL wants to be in charge of trying to verify if a document was real or fake?  It can be created as we have all seen on the net, anything can be photo shopped and the schools are NOT allowed to give out or verify admission to school, so I think this would be a problem for THAT reason, we do not want to limit our nursing student s from participating in this site. It would be nice if the profile was more accurate when you set up your account, people putting in they are RN with BSN then they are still students, who is to say they would ever finish school, it is just confusing. Your service should be student, then you could put what you are in school for: RN, LVN, CNA etc. that would be my input for whatever it is worth.

Go to "MY Profile" Then Click "Edit" Type in the new zip code. Do not forget to go to the bottom of the page and click "Submit" I bet that is the step you are missing.

Just make up an initial for your last name.

I wonder if there is a way to make it so that you can only view a person's info if they have asked to be a "friend", I try to be very careful who I let on my list, but you can still everyone's info even if you haven't accepted them.
