when I can't take anything with ibruprofen in it because I have gastritis.  I find it so irriating when I have a serious pain issue, like a recent car accident, and I got to the ER and they try and presribe me something like Vicodin (which causes me to almost immediately have intense dizziness and severe vomitting \regardless of how much I eat) and I am then told well you can have ibruprofen and I tell them no I can't and why and then I almost always get the insuiates of drug seeking because I am usually told "well we can't give you oxycondon or oxycontin" and I tell them thats fine because those do the same thing that Vicodin does so the only plan anyone has ever came up with is to put me on a narcotic and antinausea pill at the same time but is all that necessary is there any other pain med that would work better for my situation?

Tylenol, naprosyn, toradol, also demerol is available PO....Toradol can have GI effects much like ibuprofen...occasionally, people can tolerate percocet better than vicodin.  You might try 1/2 a vicodin and 1 ES tylenol...

I had debilitating lower back pain for 6 years , I was on and off narcotics to relieve the excrutiating pain for months at a time. I got great results from tramadol which is non-narcotic, it took about a week before it helped. I feel for you, I understand your frustration, God bless you.

I have tried 1/2 vicodin and it works for the pain and it makes me only midly nauseuos.  Tylenol works good put not for any severe pain.  Never heard of naprosyn and toradol I think I have taken and it didn't sit well make me dizzy and light headed if I am thinking of the right med unless I am thinking of tramadol.  At least I know one thing there is no way I could abuse these commonly abused drugs because narcotics/opiates making me extremely dizzy, lightheaded, and nauseaus and causes me to vomit badly.
